De Juan in Belvidere

The service is great but the food isn't very good or authentic. It isn't very hard to make authentic Mexican food so we were a little disappointed. I think they use a lot of sauce mixes instead of making things from scratch.

Asked for a piña colada and they don't know how to make the drink and presentation is awful and chips are horrible!!

Best place to eat Authentic Mexican food that taste great. Friendly service and friendly staff. They make you feel right at home. Its worth the 20 min drive from Rockford to Belvidere. Keep up the good job guys, and see you soon.

Classic good food

Great place for picking up lots of surprisingly unrelated consumables, like pet food, birdseed, snack foods, and seeds for the garden.

When they say spicy they mean it! Totally killer enchiladas. I can't wait to come back and get those again.

I can't recommend enough their spicy pork Juanito Burrito. Delicious! Service was excellent, as per usual. If it's helpful for your decision-making process, one if their servers told me the last time I was there that their cuisine is typical of Mexico City.

Tonight we picked up delious food from our favorite Mexican restaurant DeJuans. It was so easy - called and placed an order - 20 minutes later- we drove up to the door -Lety (owner ) put our order in the back seatSupport your local restaurants during this crisis

Way over priced

I love the food and drinks, staff is so nice all the time, but every single time I go with my friends we pay separate they charge each of us like 5 dollars more, Now we have to tell the waitress to check our total one more time

Great food,friendly staff. We go there once a week . The mole sauce is the best I have ever had in this area. Downside,chips have no taste and salsa is is to thin. Hey guys Aldis across the street has much better chips in the the brown bag. Just a thought.

I love this restaurant!!! The food is great and the staff is so nice! I have been coming to De Juan' s ever since I was a little girl with my family. Now I am grown, and I go all the time with my husband. Also, I have tried margaritas everywhere, even in Mexico, and this place always has the best!!

First time customer. I was told steak burrito was $8.50 I ordered two. Total was $25 which didn't make sense burritos are covered in sauce with no utensils no chance to be able to eat while I'm working. Food was overcooked and cold first time in my life I'm leaving a bad review for anything find another restaurant! Threw the second burrito in the garbage!

Great laid back atmosphere, the food is delicious and the staff is friendly. The pork rajas was delicious and the tacos are top notch and it's all reasonably priced.
